The neZEH 2015 conference:

Presented the issues and challenges addressed by the nearly Zero Energy Hotels Initiative, with a particular focus on how energy innovation in the hotel sector can contribute to the European and International objectives relating to climate change mitigation.

Aimed to inspire and drive replication of best practice by showcasing relevant examples and demonstrating the feasibility and benefits of nearly Zero Energy Hotels.

Hosted  discussions on the opportunities for action to be seized by hoteliers, such as existing financial tools as well as supporting mechanisms.

Underlined the potential of nearly Zero Energy Building policies to enhance the transition towards sustainable tourism and cities.

Highlighted the marketing opportunities linked to sustainable strategies, in a context of growing awareness in clients’ behavior.
